Follow-up Comment #1:

I've attached a patch to clean up groff's own usage of the "CW" font in
contexts outside of devdvi.

Comments?

man/groff_char.7.man: Migrate away from using CW font.

tmac/an-ext.tmac: Set font to roman in examples; we're already in the C
family.

tmac/groff_ms.7.man: Set first column of table in CR, not CW.

tmac/tty.tmac: Stop suppressing "can't find font" warnings.

tmac/tty.tmac: Stop suppressing "can't find font" warnings.

Fully agree with this change.

No opinion on the other changes, though if they prevent this newly unmasked
warning from appearing, I suppose they need to be made as well.
